Garlic Scapes

We are really blessed with a bed of volunteer garlic. Many years ago we discovered the scape, which is the stalk of the plant.

We usually prepare them by lightly coating with olive oil and spinkling with salt and grilling them. It isn’t for very long, just a few minutes until they are a little brown and heated through.

They have been a great change for the meal.
