Portland Evening

My niece was recently in town. Our evening activities were a unique Portland experience.
For dinner, mom picked up some pizza and we ate at the Chapman Elementary field and watched the Vaux Swifts. These are migrating birds that gather for the night in the chimney at Chapman School – in this swirling pattern.
We then took them to Powells bookstore – we were there for over an hour and they barely got through two floors. I bought a few books for Carl (mostly from the $1 bin.) I have started reading him some of Beverly Cleary’s books. He also loves the "Little Critter" books by Mercer Mayer.
I was a fun evening.

hi, what kind of book do you like reading, Leslie? Personally, i like those novels related to our daily work, maybe a little tedious, but i like it, it\’s exciting.
