Tell mommy every three minutes that you want spaghetti and meatballs for lunch until she says, "ok we will make spaghetti and meatballs."
Step one – Defrost the tomato sauce from the freezer (mommy made it last summer from the tomatoes in our garden.)
Step two – crack two garlic cloves with a dinner knife, peel them and then squeeze them through a garlic press.
Step three – add garlic, 1 tablespoon oregano and one tablespoon basil to tomato sauce. Blame mommy for anything that spills.
Step four – have mommy heat up the sauce on the stove
Step five – have mommy cook three meatballs (from the big bag they bought at Costco) in a pan
Step six – have mommy boil some water and cook pointy spaghetti in the water
Step seven – place meatballs, spaghetti and sauce on a plate so that none are touching each other.
The proper way to eat this dish is to eat only the insides of the meatballs and pick up each of the noodles with your fingers and touch it in the sauce, then slurp it into your mouth.
